Last weekend, I found this solid silver Korean Japanese baseball belt buckle. It is dated 1931. It references a middle school baseball tournament in 1931. I did some research and found out that the Japanese conducted annual Intercity baseball tournaments from 1927 to 1941. Cities in both Japan and Korea participated. I believe this buckle is from those tournaments. Baseball was very popular in Korea during the Japanese colonial era of 1910-45.
