I don't think that was the plan. I noticed it really high up behind my house about 45 minutes early and generally they fly over with an east blowing breeze and land in a big open field. Then from in the house I kept hearing that blasting flame just constantly going on and off. I looked outside and it was still pretty high, but pretty much not going in any direction, but down. They did hit the street with a pretty good thud. Maybe it was running low on gas. He had to have been going through a lot of it, with the way it was constantly blasting.Did he mean to land there? Good there were no overhead power lines along the street.
They've come over pretty low before. This balloon is smaller than the ones that gives rides. The baskets on those are bigger and hold maybe 6 people. The basket on this one looks kind of tight for two people. Plus I've never seen it before. I've lived here 33 years and hot air balloons have been going overhead the whole time I've lived here. It cost $250. a person to go up. Sometimes they get really high in the air and go much farther before coming down. Not a everyday thing that is for sure.
Good landing though, nobody hurt that's the main point.
Yeah it didn't take that long for these guys to deflate the balloon and bag it up and be outta thereDefinitely a great moment to remember
Years ago we heard a loud noise coming from the back yard
I opened the sliding door and a large hot air balloon also landed in the yard.
A few minutes later the chase car came up the driveway.
They deflated the balloon and took it away
