Axe head shaped i.d. plate

Dug this I.d. tag/plate, tried Goodling a few times with no results.

It's brass I believe (I didn't scratch it to verify that) but is hefty for size. It's marked MacGregor, wings with an LS stamped over them. A #3 is to the right, which may have been size number of the product this was originally screwed to.

Beside mesurements shown, it is 1/16" thick. Thanks all, Don
