I'm guessing that if it is in fact silver and worn that smooth it is exceptionally thin? Assume it was found at an early site in the U.S.?? If so, hopefully someone will check their Russell Ruleau "Early American Tokens" (mine is buried in some box with everything else I can't find.) Assuming it is a counterstamp token (coin), I'm fairly certain from memory that it is not listed in the "mavericks", on old silver anyway, and your's would probably be unique (though with a generic "B" not particularly valuable). .

actually this was dug in England, but not by me (I have yet to find any coin this old). But it is silver and pretty thin.

Thanks Coach, English tokens I know nothing about. Good luck with it though and I'm sure one of the English boys will know.

Counterstamped coin, probably a very worn William111 sixpence, these were often stamped when they became worn, by traders/store keepers.
