B & O Railroad Button

Found this button about 6 inches down using the new CTX3030. I cleaned it with aluminum jelly and it cleaned up nicely. What's great about this find is both my great grandfather and grandfather retired from the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.

Huh, you answered a question, or mystery, for that matter. My grandfather had one of these, among others, in an old box. He didn't work for the railroad, but I remember that exact button in the box. We could only look at them, not touch.

I have been trying to do some research to figure the age of the button.

That is an awesome button! No doubt, the B&O RR is one of the oldest RR's in America, and this is just another great relic rescued! That is beatiful! Congrats!
