yes and no ruth was a very prolific signer.

Yes Ruth did sign more autographs than anyone of the period & their are a LOT of fakes out there..........get it authenticated.

A point of interest about Ruth's signature - many, many items were signed by the Yankee's batboy who could do Ruth's signature quite well (with his permission). Most serious collectors can tell if it was Ruth or the batboy.

Any real Babe Ruth autograph is
worth some serious money. I saw
one that he signed in the late 1940's
going for over $500 and that was
way after he retired and was on his
death bed.
