Baby Jesus or Angel ?

Bought this today for $2.00 at a garage sale. It looked vintage or antique to me. I was surprised on how great shape it was in and the paint looks really good too.
Does anyone know if this is an angel (with no wings), cherub, or baby Jesus?
It's made of some kind of plastic. The plastic is not light, it actually has a nice weight to it but not very heavy. (If you know what I mean �&#56898
It's 7" from his buttocks to his head. Probably about 12" altogether.
I am wondering who it is, how old it is, and are these collectible?

Any info would be great!

I would bet that wings fit in that hole in the back.

Oh yeah! I think you might be right Indian Steve. I thought the square hole was to hang on wall but it could have been for the wings too.
