Back from Cancun

I had posted in late Aug. about going down to Cancun. 3 responded then and your info helped. I stayed on Isla Mujeres and walked to Playa Norte every morning as early as I could...stayed until beaches started to fill and then went back late afternoons. More beer caps than I'd ever seen in all my put-together. As the old timers say, "I've spilled more beer than most people drink.", and it must have happened there! Anyway, I found enough current pesos to help pay for dinner each night, I found one pair of heavy, silver hoop earrings, one silver, collectors' coin-shaped medal, and a silver $100 peso piece. Darned if I can find that last in my stuff. I need to get the data off of it (badly tarnished) to know if it's one of the discontinued or one of the reissued. I found that medal in the shallows and it came up badly encrusted...my little heart did a skip and I was hoping for Spanish gold...but not this trip. I'd go again in a second! Whodom
