Got back the other day, from a nice sun drenched week abroad. These are the finds from yesterday's hunt. Once again the hammered coins, did not disappoint. Three coins ranging from a nice full flan Edward 1st penny, Canterbury mint, a broken half penny (showing annulets at the neck). Also a very worn probably Elizabethan coin. Artifact wise a lead medieval token, with a flower design. A medieval leather decoration, and lead weight. Robert.
