Back in the fields again Flying Eagle!!

This mornings hunt was in a field an 1/8th of a mile away. Hunted this long gone homesite for 4 years now, finds have been I.H.'s brass and iron items. Don't think I'll be getting this Flying Eagle cleaned good enough to get a date off of it, pretty rough shape

When I didn't see a shield above one cent I knew it was a 1859 or older.

It's too bad the dates are small on those but, it still a Flying Eagle.

Some years these fields will give up something different. Found two arrowheads, 4 float copper, also in this 100+ acres field
