I've been poking around several different permissions and public areas and have had a good time pulling clad, but nothing else........not even any good relics. Well, the fellow who owns the corner lot that had me so entertained in March and early April, gave me permission to hunt another large property that has a rental unit. This property has a large back yard and what seemed to me to be a large side yard. Well, I knocked on the door to let the tenant know I'd been given permission and I would be spending some time there off and on during the coming days. No one answered, so I began on the curb strip. Eventually, I migrated into the side yard that began with a 6' x 25' strip between the sidewalk and some shrubs. As I neared the end of that strip, the owner came by and said, "That's not my property!" ..............uh oh.............

He directed me to the actual owner and I went to his house to apologize and show him what I had retrieved. He was so taken with the 5 or 6 wheats and the 1927 merchants token that I found that he insisted that I continue! Whew!!
2 subsequent hunts yielded a '37 Buffalo and 25 wheaties, but no silver. That has all changed!! (Thank goodness!) Every coin has been 6 to 10 inches down and the Vaquero has been great at finding them............

An hour and half over about a 10' x 25' area........it's the area furthest from the house and about 25% of the yard.
Lots more to do............
Thanks for lookin' in and good hunting to all!!
