Went back for a 4 hour morning hunt before the rain and heat moved in. No silver this time, but found $4 more in clad, and three more wheat's along with this 50's-60's cool gas station Chester Arthur token.
The wheat's this time where in great shape..I dipped them in some hot peroxide..and then a overnight soak in olive oil.
One of the last holes of the day I just knew I had a silver..5 inches deep.. dime signal (deep signal at this location) ..popped the plug and only see a flat rock at the bottom..signal still in the hole..I was saying..no way a clad dime is under that rock..had to be there a while to be under a rock..flip out the rock and pull out a 1965 clad dime with no wear
