Went back to a quiet creek I have had some good finds in:

This part had a swing rope over the creek, which I thought had potential underneath, and a flat area on the bank that looked like a house had once been,

In the water, I found a silver bracelet I need help identifying. It has a 925 mark, but I'd like to know who made is so I can assess the value. It's a heavy amount of silver, and I am thrilled at finding such a substantial piece!

The other find that I need help on is a trade token that was on the land. I'd found a very rusted out Prince Albert can and an old Pepsi can with the classic pull off tab, so I know from those the place had some use for quite a few years back. Here is the trade token:

Any help on this? Any chance it is silver?

It was a great few hours, and I came away with this assortment:

Thank you for looking, and thanks for any help you can offer! Back to the hunt now!

Nice finds. I've never heard of a silver token but I guess anything is possible.

Forgot to mention a couple of other things in the group picture. I pulled a nice 38 wheat that cleaned up well:

And on my way out, was just sweeping the coil around and caught this just under the grass -- I guess this is what coin slaw or clad slaw looks like when it's been hit by the bush hog processor?!

I would not have wanted to be in the path of that quarter when it met Mister Lawnmower. Might have needed an extra-large band-aid.

I have a large baggie full of clad that looks like this. My bank said they are only worth melt value, which wouldn't be very much. You would think you could get damaged coins replaced?

Whats the other side of the token look like? It could be military? Maybe E company?

If the token feels light, its aluminum. If it feels like its got a little weight to it, it could be silver. Nickel is another possibility.

Both sides are the same. Did the military use trade tokens? That's an interesting thought...

Nice score on the chunky silver chain. Cool old token too. Is that a brass plug thingy? Looks cool as heck. Lovely and peaceful looking spot too.:icon_thumright:

Nice finds. With that hanging charm and the 2 end stoppers on that bracelet, it looks like it may be a Pandora bracelet. You can google their website, or go to one of their stores to have them verify it for you.

I agree the bracelet is modern, probably Pandora I bought my wife a similar one a few years ago. The trade token is interesting.

I am not familiar with Pandora, but that was my first guess. That's a sweet find sir.

The detail work on the bracelet and the bead ornament ,and the S hook is typical of Balinese or East Indian work , very nice find ! May well be marketed through Pandora.

I thought pandora as well. you managed to find some pretty cool things at that spot

Yes they did. A lot of different ones too. I know Ive seen similar looking tokens with a big letter like that in the center, representing the company of the regiment it was used by. But I dont want to get your hopes up, it could be something else. Aluminum tokens have been around since as early as the 1880s, maybe before, but I dont know, and the military has been using tokens since as early as the Civil War (maybe before, but again Im not sure) all the way up to present. Yours looks old, though.

Congrats on some great finds.

NICE SILVER FIND...
