Mary and I went back to the park where I found my last LC. We were swinging away and not finding much except clad, Mary found a wheat cent and had to go. I stuck around and found some more clad. Decided to detect my way back to the truck and got a solid 7 signal. Dug the hole and thought I found a bottle cap. Started to pull it out a found a string attached to it. I found a cheap necklace! Next signal was a 14-15 and I dug up what I think is a neckerchief slide with what looks like silver plating. Next signal is a solid 31. I'm about 5 yards from where I found the LC last time. Dig the hole and out pops an 1854 LC! I'm starting to really like this park! There's an old church right next to the park and I'm going to ask for permission to hunt there. Hope they say yes!
