Just got back from a couple of hours in the wood. Nothing much in the way of finds. A few modern coins, a musket ball, and a dog tag. The most interesting find being, the thing with three holes in it. Think it's from a WW2 anti aircraft shell. These things turn up in the wood fairly often. Sheffield is nearby and was a target for the Luftwaffe, been told there was a battery of anti air craft guns in this area.
