First post here, hope y'all are doing well.

Wanted to share my first ever silver find with y'all, happened yesterday in my own backyard. Recently purchased a property, house built around 1908. Anyway I got 2 silver Roosevelt's out of the same plug, 1963&1962.

Beautiful and welcome to T-Net! There's more in your yard!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I hope theres more out there, I have A LOT of iron and can slaw. I went over this area with my LRP and missed these, but my Silver Sabre hit them loud and clear. This was my first time testing the Sabre out btw. Recently won it on ebay

Awesome finds there goes the yard lol bet theres tons more good stuff

My first silver coin was a Roosevelt dime that I found in my front yard. It's great when you don't even need to leave home to find silver!

Welcome aboard from Northern Virginia :skullflag: Nice silver score!

Awesome find! Double silver in your own yard is hard to beat.

Welcome to the forum from Port Allegheny, Pennsylvania and congrats on the Silver

Thank you all

I should send you pictures of my yard, it looks like a mortar practice range. And oddly enough, my wife isn’t a fan, huh, whoda thunk. Nice silver spill and welcome from the Baystate

Double for the first, nice! Get a half dollar coin flip and put them both in the same holder. My first was a rosie as well but I didn't put it in a holder and now I don't know which it was. I think it was a 1954, but not positive.
Grats and I agree, there's more there. If you get bored, start digging all targets and I'll bet you two merc's that you will find something great that you didn't expect.

Welcome from MI also Tommy

Very cool to find these two dimes in your own yard! As yet, I haven't found a silver coin, so I am naturally jealous. I have to laugh when people find things in their own yard--like finding a roman coin sitting on the surface--it isn't supposed to happen! Your yard will be a challenge, but you can knock it off slowly in sections. Don't forget to have fun!

Nothing better than walking out your own door into your yard and grabbing some silver. Congrats on your first silvers, and welcome to the forum from Illinois.
