Yeah... that's not so bad bud! I went about three weeks without silver in my boxes to finally get 2 this week I think. Thousands and thousands of $$ for nadda.... oh well, it happens!

Well, at least we are still coming out ahead....even if you only find 1 40 % half in $2000, it is not like you are throwing any money away. Sure you are spending some time, but financially you ARE slightly better off...

Yes, that's one thing I really appreciate about this aspect of the hobby as well. Even if you're a 10-year old kid and can only afford one penny roll at a time, there's absolutely no waste. All the rejects can be plowed into buying more coins or spent as one's heart desires. And of course, any keepers just add to your net worth, or can be sold or traded at a profit.

I think gradulaly the amount of silver halfs in circulation is depleeting...

Oh yeah there's still a lot of silver halves out there. But if you search every week,you might be getting your old halves back again. lol I swear the one bank that I was ording from were picking up my returned halves from another bank and rewrapping them and shipping them to the bank I was ording from. Because I went a month and a half without any silver in the boxes.

So I tried ordering boxes from another city, miles away from where I currently get boxes and I got a really good box. You have to try ordering boxes from different banks in different cities, this way they get them from different coin companies and locations.
