Found this dime size brass (?) button at a long gone 1870's farm site. More interesting since it has a name. Is this name from a button maker or a line of work clothes? Gary

Nice button. A quick internet search found this.
"Badcock & Simpson"Post office directory of Berkshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, makers of fine woolens. So it looks like clothing manufacturers in england.
