Baggage tag of some sort? Help please...

Can anyone help ID this tag?

It reads I M T on the front, and has a number 47 that has been crossed out. The back has number 101.

The tag was found in Pinckney, Michigan which is near Ann Arbor. Could this be a railroad tag from Iron Mountain, Michigan in the Upper Penninsula? I know that the airport code in Iron Mountain is IMT.

hi im from mexico i have found like 10 of those in an old gost town in coahuila, there was an old coal mine that explde in 1902 and that use to be the emplyee number..

the workers use it to borrow tools from the wherhouse.

maybe there where you found it use to be a mine

the ones i found have the numbers and the letters c.c.co. that means coahuila coal company
and a.c.c.co that means american coal and coke company
