I've been digging in the Bangor area lately with my detecting pal (and local celebrity) goldbill. He's renewed my interest in one of the local parks and it's been paying off! Yesterday started with a 1871 Canadian dime.

Next was a toasted large cent that's soaking in olive oil. Then, I got a deep penny signal and out popped a drilled 1856 half dime!
It was so tiny that I thought it was a button at first. The day before produced a 1905 half dollar (my first large silver of the year). She's a little beat up, but she's beautiful to me!

It just goes to show, no place is ever completely hunted out. Thanks for looking and HH!
