Knocked a couple doors with my brother on Friday. He got the good side of the second yard, gleaning 37D and 61D Washingtons and a size 6 sterling Cub Scout ring.
I tried to assassinate Lady Liberty with a Lesche in the back yard.

The tough clay that makes what we call blackland soil around here is hard-digging when it is dried out. I guess I scratched it while trying to cut a chunk of clay out of the ground.
Went back to my favorite local spot for a couple hours yesterday afternoon. The nickels are still there. I got two early Jeffersons and a 43 war nickel, four buffs, a V and a few wheaties.

May get to get back out there this afternoon. Here's hoping!
Thanks for looking, GL and HH!
