Hello Forum,

I found a 1898 Barber Dime in the woods. I love the art work / design on these old coins so I decided to put it in a necklace bezel. I also found this other thing with a pattern on it. Does any one recognize it? Thanks for looking!

Great looking dime!

Nice Barber- great idea mounting it like that.

I love the art work / design on these old coins

our coins were a lot more beautiful when the primary focus of design was Liberty. Most modern coinage with images of presidents actually began as a commemorative but never went away. I have always been a firm believer that America should return it's coinage to show images of Liberty instead of elevating politicians to 'God-like' status by immortalizing them on our coins.

Nice Barber I love those coins I always thought about a coin pendant necklace

Very nice find. The other item looks like the remnants of a dandy button. JMHO - I'm no expert.

Nice. Congratulations

Very nice pendant, wearing your finds is a constant reminder that we find very cool things. :occasion14:

I wear a one dollar Gold Liberty coin found a few years back. It had a hole in it, so I thought, just wear it! :icon_thumleft:

Nice looking Barber dime. I like what you did with the Bezel. Make sure you don't lose it, or you will have to find someone with a metal detector to help you find it !
