Barn finds !!! Very cool !!!

I have a friend that has a barn being tore down and he gave me permission to go in and see if there was anything I wanted. I didn't have much time so I did a quick once over and found these couple things. The salt and pepper shakers were awesome and I thought there was a chance the tips were silver. The other item is a milk cooler "Gregory purity" milk cooler, Oakes & Burger Co. Out of Cattaragus NY. Any info on either of these items is much appreciated.

Scotty , I'd bet the farm on those tops being sterling silver ! look on the rim with a loupe in excellent light - you should find the hallmark ,
most likey on the outer aspect of the rim - check inside too .
