Barnet 5 Chicago - Need info on this stamp

This stamp has a glazed obverse finish & has full gum on reverse with sign of stamp hinge removed at top on reverse.

in e 1960's two things happened --postage went to 5 cents and se4lf sticking stamps =--the No. 5 type was put into place to replace the gum lick type stamp ---there is a large stamp collectors club group in Chicago

there are custom stamps -- Chicago stamps thru zazzle.com which can be made to use as "legal postage"
