Barska Metal Detector Questions???

Just wondering if anyone had any expirence or opinions regarding the Barska brand of metal detectors as an inexpensive - entry level MD to get started into the hobby of detecting....Attached are a couple of pics of one the Barska MDs. Found online for $150.

I would do more looking, you have more choices. What is your budget?

Hi TH, my budget is low, around $300 as I am retired/disabled and living on a fixed, monthly income and want to do some detecting as a hobby to keep me active and get a little exercise. Wish I could afford better..

Do a search and read about the Garrett Ace 250..

Thanks TH, yeah, I've done a lot of looking and reading online about a lot of different MDs and probably will go with one of the Garretts. I saw this Barska online but it didn't have a lot of info and thught I'd ask here... Thanks for the input..
