I'm intelligent enough to be skeptical of dowsing. However, I'm experienced enough (and old enough) to realize that there are some very unexplainable things that are none the less possible and/or real in this universe. Therefore, I try not to be automatically dismissive of 100% of everything "unproven" that I hear.

Getting to the point that I'm curious about. These are my questions:

Can you outline the most basic of techniques you personally use in dowsing?
How would you make the tools necessary for another individual to try dowsing?
Have you personally found items of real monetary value using dowsing?

Yes, I do realize that some people are fakes and hide behind "secrets they don't want to reveal". Also, I'm fully aware of the "con" side of the debate on dowsing, so I'm not looking to learn more reasons why it is not possible. (There are obviously some strong points on that side of the debate.) I'm interested in open and honest individuals that wish to share what they regard as simple and legitimate methods and tools.

My motivation is curiosity.

Personally, I use a pair of 1952 Studebaker radio antenaes...

Interestingly I recently one broke one and substituted a 1966 Buick Riveria antenae, and now get mixed signals...

For research I prefer to use newspaper reproduced aerial maps and have been quite successful...

Fortunately, my success is measured by the finds I have recorded and have been the first to post on sites similar to this...

Oy! That's funny..gif
