✅ SOLVED Bathtub stopper without rubber center ?

Found at new site near work, it had a little spring inside and some rubber on the outside that fell apart. Thought maybe a bathtub drain stopper or something else? Site has really old barn still standing and tons of garbage near it. This was found further away on some what appears to be car or wagon tracks in the vicinity

looks like one kinda , could be something else. not a tub stopper 100% sure of that after many years in the trade.

Radiator cap and thermostat do look a lot alike, but I'm going to go with radiator cap as well.
