Tried out a new machine today. Hit a beach this morning and hit the old farmhouse by home after lunch. Found my first ring at the beach, just threw it in my shovel pouch, planned not to dig anything else with my shovel. Apparently I must have pulled the shovel out , along with the ring
, cuz it didn't make the trip home! Pretty sure it was a cheapy, but who knows.
Found the coins, other than one penny, at the beach and all the other stuff at the farmhouse that I thought was hunted "clean" from previous trips with my other detector! Guessing the religeous lookin trinkets are catholic? Little baby picture/pin thing is on the weird side of the fence, imo! Focused on detecting the area between where back door would have been and the old clothesline posts are.
...Next day, quick hunt....Found this neat metal bell, in the front yard area....
...the ring is a plated junker.
