Don't get me wrong, I had a great time and learned something about hunting saltwater beaches and other than getting to meet a fellow T-netter, that was mainly why I went. If I learn something every time out it is well worth the trip and thanks to caratjuice I did. The weather has been beautiful here and at the beach it was a crisp 58 degrees with a little fog out on the sound and a pleasant little breeze blowing in from the ocean. The tide was low and we got to see some areas and flats that are normally submerged, and that smell of the salt air is invigorating except when you get downwind of an expired aquatic creature!

Although cool it was not cold while at home 58 degrees is down right chilly. Seattle is a beautiful city for the most part and of course we made all the tourist traps. We went to Mt. Rainier and my granddaughter called it Mt. Raindeer!

My wife was describing it to my son back in Oklahoma and called it Mt. Saint Everest! I'm not sure just exactly where I did go now!

We went to the Market Monday and I have never seen so many people! I wanted to see the guy throwing fish but found out you had to buy a fish before he would throw it! I could just see myself carrying around a slimey stinking 10 lb Halibut all over downtown Seattle, so needless to say I was disappointed. There ought to be a mandatory fish throwing law where the guys at the fish market are required to throw fish at the tourists!

Heck, I'd settle for a minnow! Anyway this has been the first real vacation Kay and I have been on since the kids grew up and we are enjoying ourselves. I have been getting up at daylight as is my custom and hitting a few of the local city parks just to get my MDing fix every day. Just did some coin shooting but had fun and learned my way around town. But tomorrow it is time to go home and I am about ready, getting a little homesick and missing my stupid dog who has probably dug up my coin garden and ran away like that other no good worthless mutt. Gosh I miss him! Back online from Oklahoma day after tomorrow! Monty
