Beach cleaners

Just wondering if anyone knows if beach cleaners pick up jewelry and coins. Because today I was at a beach that was packed last night and only had .80 cents to show for a 3 hour hunt. Thanks

I live in Virginia beach and they rake the beach every morning in the tourist area and I still find my share. The rakes bury some things and bring other things closer to the surface its a trade off it sure makes swinging easier when the beach looks like a golf course
