Hello, I just got back from Key West where I found time to MD on the Navy base next to the water. I found a lot of junk but also found an old piece of jewelry that appears to be silver but I need help identifying it. It was found straight West of the Atocha wreck.

Atocha and other ships the hurrican winds brought them safely into Gulf of Mexico, then back out around some sinking. China supplied a lot of Asian goods for Manila galleons which were moved to fleets. Not sure if a Chinese wreck could be in that area.

Siam jewelry only existed and was made from the 30's to the 80's'.
Siam does not exist anymore... it is now Thailand.

I added a link to article (post above). Apparently Asian influence impacted Mexican artists and even silk designs. Some of what Manila galleons brought from China never left the Americas.
