My beach finds were expected, but I was surprised to find this half brick. I wanted to let you all have a look/see. Treasure comes in all forms. From the open views of the salty brine to the clay muck, squishing in and about my sneakers, to a 3x4 half brick set in the sand. The brick is at minimum 140 years old, I would think. Along with the brick is a ring, musket ball, Indian penny and clay pipe stem. I also should have known better and put on my boots!
Happy hunting!

It looks like a cat walked on the brick before it was fired. I was hoping you found a square grouper but then you might not want to post that lol!

That is a very old brick, that's dinosaur foot print.
Makes it a fossil.

Well Done!

Those red tiles and bricks when they are soft before fired up they let a cat walk on those . Then after there cooked they get more money for em

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

That cat must have weighed 75 lbs. to make a print that deep. Maybe dino cat is a possibility or the cat was jumping from the brick at that time.:dontknow:

That's a cool find on that brick. A first for these old eyes. Also Congrats on the other nice keepers. GL out there.

I have found a few red brick in the surf, all the corners would have a big radius on them, I been told that they were used for ballast on the trip over here, then they bricked houses with them, great finds, keep up the good work. Marion
