Beach Hunt 23 Apr 2013 Have a copper thing I need ID'd
Hit the beaches near the "cave" and the rocks in OV. Windy, cold and rough out...couldn't get in the water. Beach replenishment still ongoing at the rocks. Spoke with one of the foreman from the crews working and he was explaining it all to me. They are removing sand from one end of the beach and moving it further down. Tried hunting the "pit" they had dug out but was only able to access the sides but didn't find anything. Will try again next week and see what is in the bottom! Found a little copper thing (looks like it had a fish on it) near the cave and wanted to know if anyone knows what it is....thanks!
