Beach hunting help and advice

I will be traveling to Jacksonville FL at the end of April. I want to hunt the beach and have a AT pro. I know it's not the ideal maching to use but, it's all I have. First and foremost: rules, regs and common sense. I don't want to break any laws or tick anyone off. Any suggestions?
