Beach info

Could someone help me out and let me know what beachs are off limits to detecting if any.I stopped at roosevelt today and some woman told me that i could not detect there,not knowing any better i said ok but i think thats bs.anybody know the closed beachs ,nothing on delaware's webpage about it.

I dont think there are any "closed" ocean side beaches in Delaware. The only restriction I'm aware of is detecting on the dunes is not allowed. This includes state parks and city beaches.
