Beach Sand in Wabasso, FL

Does any one know if the dunes are replenished in Vero Beach, Wabasso area in front of the condos?
It seems that the sand is a very different density since the last time I was there two years ago.

Hi Billy,

I was at Wabasso this past summer and was talking to the lifeguard and he told me that after the bad storms and hurricanes last year, the beach was had to be filled with several feet of sand. So instead of wasting time on the newly placed sand, I worked about 3 to 4 feet out from the high tide line and came up with a very nice heavy gold chain. I was given a $750 to $800 value. The lifeguards are a good source of i nfo.

Yes this year all the beaches were replenished with new sand....
