Hi I've been looking at the starva scoop and I see the tree looks similiar anyone have any input on what one to get I live in ny and will be hunting north n south jersey and maybe Ct mass and ny it gets confusing with different types of sand /clay as I was reading and what size some are 8 inch some 9 any input appreciated

If you are still in the market for a good scoop, I'd look at the Stealth Scoops. The 720i or 920i. They are top of the line and won't rust on the surface like some stainless steel scoops.

I use a hand held plastic scoop with small hand handle that I paid $14.00. Works great. You see them all over the net in different colors. Has a zillion holes just large enough for a dime to stay in the scoop.
I carry it in my small plastic bucket, along with my Lesche digger and Pin pointer, and dirt cloth. I even use it in parks. One of the best accessories I have purchased so far.

Even using it in just plain old south georgia dirt, it speeds up the recovery process.
