Detector(s) used
Ace 150
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Well today i spend an hour with my 3 year old at a small beach area swinging my new Ace 150.. almost right away i get a hit,
2 pennies
2007 D
1994 D

5 minutes later another hit
a penny
1990 D

another 3 minutes and i get a ring hit on the detector, Digging and find 3 Bottle caps Dang

after another 20 minutes i dig another bottle cap and 2 pull taps, and a lighter.

then my little girl come running after having been digging a big hole in the sand ,, "Daddy i found a penny" (She calls all coins Penny's)
she shows me her hand and there she have a Quarter 1996 D Dang.. i go over to her hole and detect it ,, get 2 small hits and find another 2 pennies.
2000 D
1989 D

I have to say my daughter is a better Treasure hunter than me, she won and for that she get all 30 cents in her Piggy bank.

When the piggy bank is full i will buy her a detector for her, want to teach her getting more stuff.

Go Emmalee!! That is awesome!! Sorry you guys didn't find more coinage today but you don't get any better treasure than a day like that with your daddy!! She will not forget easily how she was included in outtings like that. :icon_sunny:

Good finds!!! So your 150 does ok in the dry sand? Did you try the wet sand as well?

YES SHE WILL BE A GOOD ONE. AT 5 SHE WILL BE FINDING MORE THAN YOU.

Nice finds! And, yes, I've been skunked by my kids before......I recall a tot lot where I found a bit of change but my son runs over with three quarters he found at the bottom of a slide. At least he's paying attention out there!
