Didn't expect that in Feb I'd be out on the beach in shorts in 70+ degree weather but that is Va Beach for ya. Don't like the weather? Wait 15 mins, it will change!
Didn't have high hopes after the last few days but it turned out to be a pretty good day. The ring came out in 2 pieces. Not sure if I did it with the scoop or it was already broken but glad I found the other 1/2 right next to it. When the first piece was in the scoop I thought it was a gold earring and put it in my pouch. When the 2nd piece came out, I had to go back and look in the pouch to see if I hadn't missed it and was digging the same piece! One I saw the two together I was like oh, it's a ring dummy! Broken but all there. No marks but tests good to 10K and is 2.4 grams. Stones of course are fake.
Rest of it was bling, the Iphone and a Russian coin. Looks like a good day for some others as well so congrats to all who could get out. If it's too cold where you are, hope it warms up soon. I'm sure it will snow or sleet here in another 15 mins! (Edit: Right as I was posting this it started to rain...LOL See?)
