I was out today on this absolutely beautiful December day here digging low tones on my "pounded" site.
An old headstamp was encouraging. Then a 41 Jefferson nickel ran under the coil. The day was looking up.
I was digging everything so of course I dug a bunch of beaver tails and square tabs. Old iron too.
One being what looks to be horse tack.
The AT Pro then hit a 43 repeatable. Lower than a tab. In the foil range at 2 inches deep. It just sounded so good I had to dig it.

It looked silver so I ran it under the coil again and still a 43.
I saw the Hallmark in one side (LGL) and some marking on the other but could not make it out.

I just had that feeling.
I finished up with a few more tabs, iron, and clad and headed home to clean up the ring.
My finds

And YEP, 10K gold

The ring has 3 pink stones and 4 diamond chips. 2 on each side.
A VERY Good day for me.
Say goodbye to the ring, my wife saw it.
