Beautiful day to be a digger.

The weather was beautiful today, 70 degrees. We hunted a Confederat defensive position that we and many others have hunted in the past. This is were my Cannonball came from last year and other than that we haven't found a lot there. We find lots of round balls and bucky balls and today was no different. I found 6 round balls and 9 bucky balls. Also found some camp lead and a small buckle. Opened up the plug for one of the round balls and out poped this awesome arrow head. Only my second one.


Also found what I think are solider made lead poker chips. They were both in the same hole at nine inches. They have some writing on them but I can't make it out. Seems to be from what ever they used to make them. Not sure. I have found one other of these at this site.
