Thanks for the vid Hurthawk, I was feeling pretty discouraged after my two hours on the creek this week. If I could ask one favor of you is there any chance you could show a little video of you panning what you call your plus twenties, I saw your stainer and that's basically the same thing I'm using but I'm not sure I'm panning it correctly because there is no fine black sand to catch and the pan always ends up empty. I guess I could try some lead shot with it to make sure I'm keeping that in the pan. I was just curious if the panning technique is the same, seems like I could run through that plus twenty material very quickly.
Anyway thanks again for all the videos very helpful and inspirational
