Been getting some coin hunts after work the past several days. Lakes are still frozen, so coins are what I am after. Need to save for an annual gold coin purchase. I figure I have a little over $100.00 so far.

The river rose about 8 feet last week from an ice jam. That caused the gravel to be recirculated, exposing new rocks and replenishing the flour gold. My wife and I got all the petrified wood in about an hour.

Here's the gold I dug from about 2 hours worth of digging. This was my first highbanking trip this year. Below is a link to a short video on getting this gold.

Yes I would say you have been doing really well in the past several days. Nice finds.

Thanks!

I guess you have been busy John. Nice presentation on your finds. Pretty handy with a computer also.
