Hi folks.

I had a successful hunt today including a a rather unusual one for me. It has characteristics of a Neville but the base is quite odd. It looks very old, I know they are old to begin with.

It's been a year since I have posted. I forgot my password. Any info on the big broken one in these pics would be great. Went through a dry spell past couple weeks, but now they seem to be poking up again.
The last year have found some amazing things. Can use some help in identifying quite a few. I do have the typology book for my region. These are found in North East. Any info appreciated.

Chris

That first one is a heartbreaker for sure. Congrats on the saves!

Here's some eye Candy of Recent. Also MA
Think a crude bannerstone. Center hole drilled. Only one half. Broke through center hole.

Will be going out for a hung in a few days. Thanks for the info.

Also, small fossil attached. You can see a face with horns on it. My camera picked up the face. I didnt notice it at first. Wierd....
Awfully wierd wear, but it does looked a little etched too.?

The 4th photo in your opening comment fits well within the Susquehanna Broad type. Your best typology will be Jeff Boudreau’s expanded edition of his New England typology, if in fact you don’t own it already. Ritchie’s NY typology is still a good guide, and available online. Last photo shows typical quartz end scrapers, products of the quartz pebble industry and the resultant small stem types, like Wading Rivers and Squibnocket Stemmed....

Posting what state they are found in goes a long way in helping people ID your pieces.
