Well all, it has been quiet some time since I last posted. I have only been metal detecting a handful of times over the last 2 years since my wife and I moved back to Florida from Massachusetts. My old Bounty Hunter kicked the bucket and I picked up a cheap metal detector from Harbor Freight last week for giggles. This was before I realized Kellyco was in the town next to where I live currently. Trust me, now that I know it is there and have paid a visit, I plan on saving up a bit and giving Raul (sales guy) a visit this summer to make a decent purchase.
In any case, I'm posting with my 60 minute finds using the Harbor Freight Junk-O-Matic. It did pretty well in this 25 year old park in my neighborhood. My count came to 1 wheat penny, 24 modern pennies, 3 nickels, 1 dime, 1 car key, and this pretty interesting "naughty" heads I win/tails I loose token. As I have been around long enough to know we have young readers, I took the liberty of censoring the adult lady bits. The token was found around the base of a tree near the rubber mulch playground and the coins mostly were dug around a 1/2 basketball court. Enjoy!
