Good afternoon everyone, Been awhile work is busy and garden stuff.Was finally able to put my research to the test,Here are the results.Im confused about the coin,I didn't think those were regal minted those years? Hope everyone is doing well and in good health enjoy the pics..

I know pictures are tough it's a little cooked as well but it has king George the 111 on front with Britannia on the back the date is 1776 .a score for me and oldest as well.lol
oh cool , looked like 1774 for here. still a Kg the 3rd 1/2 penny. my son dug a 1773 in Fredericksburg va about 25 years ago.

Awesome, thank you,wish mine looked that nice,I agree, about not finding this again I was really not expecting a coin like this it rang up weird numbers on my machine

It's a wonderful find. In our area settled in the 1790s by British people, it is a common find. Ours are almost always well worn. Apparently, they were worn out in England and then shipped to the colonies by the barrelful, where they were further worn.
