I saw this article that makes some good points. I like to read articles that support my latest buys, kind of like hand holding and makes me worry less. 
I have been doing much research on platinum over the past month and I am amazed at how little there is above ground stockpiled, unlike gold and silver. The supply of platinum in the earth's crust to gold is 1 to 16, just like they say gold is to silver 1 to 16, however gold and platinum are pretty equal now in price.
