Beginner MD'r my finds so far

Hey everyone!

Just getting into MD'in with my friend who has gotten me into it. I recently got a Ace 250 that I have had pretty good luck with. Haven't found anything significant coin wise. Here are some photos of my finds… The lock and test weight were found in an area of a old train station in our home town.

I have seen people finding similar locks. I can't recall how old it is again… I thought it was roughly 1890's. I haven't been able to find any information on the Poultry test weight…. please chime in if you know what it is. Thanks!

Oh I was referring to an old abandoned train depot near me. However after driving by it today I see it has become a church! Dang, all these years it sat there falling down and it never occurred to me to detect there.

That weight is pretty unique! My ultimate coin wanted to find is a Morgan, so your weight would have given me a heart attack, lol. You're off to a great start. Keep on doing what you have.....it's working for you
