I can't help you with the buckle?? At least it loks like a buckle, congreatulations on the silver & IH.

Looks like a gent's belt buckle from about the 1930's.
 

Nice finds. The buckle is from the 40's to the 60's. I used to sell them in my Grandpa's store when I was a kid.

I retired from the USMC in 2003 and now work at Lejeune as a contractor. i stopped at a field on my way back home in New Bern. When were you in?

I stopped at a field on my way back from Lejeune today. I also have a field near where went last week that i have hit oncebefore that we can go to sometime soon. I found a couple of three ringers there last summer.
