Re: Ben's in a box

Sweet W!!! Gotta love it when Mr. Ben shows up.

I don't get Brinks boxes here so I have nothing to compare to.....all CWI over here.

Keep plugging.....good luck.

Re: Ben's in a box

Congratulations on the ben's, I still haven't found one, but I got a feeling that when I do, I'll hit it big!

Oh, and good going on the others too!

CWI boxes are the way to go around here too. Brinks boxes are dry as a bone here in IN. I am about 1 or 2 more skunks away from cancelling my Brinks box orders.

Nice finds!

No Brinks down there? I thought they were everywhere? What about carriers? Do you have more than one? Or is it just Loomis?

Don't worry you'll get a Ben. Seems like they're all over the place here lately.

I started with CWI boxes and they stopped producing, so I went to Brinks and they produced really well. But then Brinks or the bank started messing with the boxes, and I was getting opened boxes and other peoples dumps from them. So I went back to CWI and all is well......... for now :)

Re: Ben's in a box

Down here in the soufeast Loomis carries CWI boxes. My last dozen have been total skunks.

Re: Ben's in a box

Brinks have been good for me, but they have been tough for me to get more than 1 or 2 at a time.

I know someone last year who had a 43 run of skunks in CWI boxes. It was brutal to see him talk about it.

Re: Ben's in a box

All of my boxes are unmarked except the denomination 500 halves.Usually the rolls are unmarked as well but occasionally i get some boxes with brinks rolls in them. They are a total waste of time in the last 6-7 boxes like that i have gotten 1 40%..thats total not per box.The unmarked rolls are better but im still a far cry from what others find.I average 5-6 a box mostly 40% buti do get a few bens and walkers mixed in every now and then.Im not sure why i get the brinks rolls though. It seems like about every 8-10 boxes unmarked then 2-3 brinks....all from same carrier so no clue what there methods are...

Re: Ben's in a box

I do o.k. with my Brinks boxes. Average is one silver for every 10 rolls, & Uncle Ben has showed up 4 times in 2 boxes. Ron

That's bad news Robin, cause the boxes I get don't appear to be CWI (no inspector marks) and they are stinking lately too. I was thinking of trying to find the Loomis routes here, but maybe I won't.

Re: Ben's in a box

Hey, Sheldius...

The CWI boxes on the coast are the flat one-layer cardboard-brown with yellow printing on them, rolls inside are white with yellow printing.

They have a CWI stamp, date stamp, and Inspector's # on them.

All have been skunks lately.

Mebbe Jawja boxes have gone to the Dawgs...... ::)

Re: Ben's in a box

Hey Sheldon, the boxes you get are cwi! I guess yours are stinking about as bad as mine lately. I did pull a really nice AU Ben out of last weeks, it looked like those Bens we got at the same time last fall out of boxes.. HH Gpurs....

Yep those are the ones I'm getting. They been pretty darn good to me(so far ;))

Re: Ben's in a box

Yeah, the ones I get sound the same, except that mine never have a date or inspector number anywhere.

I wonder if this is fall out from that X million coin search by that midwest company. Maybe they had CWI send them a bunch and now we are picking through the fallout.

Good luck all.
